Product Integrity

The Product Integrity Practice helps clients develop strategies for product-related crisis planning and issues management.  The practice is skilled at successful stakeholder engagement and regulatory communications.  Product safety has become a critically important public policy issue in recent years.  A series of high-profile recalls and other key product safety issues have caused severe damage to many corporate reputations.  Our Product Integrity Practice, which is led by the former Director of Communications for the Consumer Product and Safety Administration, helps clients deal with an ever more complex world of product safety.  We focus on helping clients avoid reputation risk and develop strategies that manage complex consumer products issues.

Key Focus:

  • Product Liability and Recalls
Communications during a consumer product recall can be a matter of saving lives and of protecting a company's reputation.  B-M has a tradition dating back to the 1980s Tylenol cyanide scare of helping companies and brands deal with such a traumatic event.
  • Codes of Conduct/Guidelines
For many companies, documenting its commitment to ethical behavior begins with a transparent assessment of its supply chain.  B-M can help reach stakeholders with key messages around managing a supply chain in an ever more complex global economy.
